Personal Training

At The Step Up Project, Personal Training sessions are designed to empower young people aged 12–25 to build strength, improve fitness, and enhance mental wellbeing. Whether delivered one-on-one or in small group settings, each workout is tailored to individual goals and interests, incorporating weight training, cardiovascular exercise, boxing, or a combination of these.

Trainers focus on creating a supportive, safe environment where participants can develop confidence, learn proper techniques, and establish healthy habits that support long-term wellbeing. General nutritional guidance is also provided to complement physical training and promote overall health.

Cardiovascular Training

Training sessions focus on improving cardiovascular fitness through activities such as HIIT, plyometrics, cycling, swimming, hiking, and other exercises designed to elevate heart rate and boost endurance.

Weight Training

Weight and resistance training sessions emphasise building lean muscle, increasing strength, enhancing functional movement, and improving overall physique. Our trainers prioritise proper technique and tailor the pace to suit each individual’s needs, ensuring safe and effective progress.

Boxing

Boxing sessions are offered both one-on-one and in small groups, focusing on refining technique while simultaneously boosting cardiovascular fitness. These dynamic sessions combine skill development with high-energy training to enhance strength, endurance, and overall wellbeing.
